This week at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Prof. Jeremy Teoh and Dr. Alex Liu became the first urologists in Asia to treat BPH patients with Aulea Medical’s next-generation TURP platform, Veloxion™. Prof. Teoh and Dr. Liu leveraged Veloxion™’s motorized TURP technology with a new procedural technique to achieve impressive efficiency, excellent hemostasis, and minimal bleeding: • ~80g prostate treated in under 60 minutes • ~30g prostate treated in under 25 minutes Veloxion™ also brings the simplicity of single-use to TURP — simplifying the support staff workflow with no instrument preparation, no assembly, and no post-procedure instrument teardown or reprocessing.
